The Assignment: Redesign an album cover with an Art Nouveau style. My Solution: This booklet was created for a class project and inspired by one of my favorite band’s albums— Dead Can Dance: The Serpent’s Egg. I designed my version of the orphic egg and created flowers to match, and to soften the orphic egg’s appearance. Adding to the Art Nouveau flare I chose a stylized font set on a waved path.
